The Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is a natural amphitheater, with walls rising 2,000 feet and enclosing a nearly 10-mile-wide area. It boasts the densest population of large animals in the world and is a microcosm of the massive Serengeti National Park, with a staggering amount of wildlife.
