Kindly review the following detailed information regarding your safari reservation.
To guarantee your reservation, Safari requests guests to pay a deposit of 50% of the total cost soon after confirmation. The remaining balance is due 70 days before you arrive in Tanzania. This helps ensure your reservation is secured and your safari experience is stress-free.
It is advised to book your Safari as far in advance as possible, especially during the peak season (June to February and Christmas vacation), to ensure the availability of accommodations and other services. This is particularly important for those reserving custom safaris and those adding pre- and post-excursions. Generally, booking at least eight weeks before arrival should ensure first-choice bookings.
In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, we must be notified in writing as soon as possible. Notice of cancellation is only considered valid when it is received in writing.
Please note that the unused portion of any Safari or Tour is not refundable. It’s vital to have comprehensive trip insurance to cover yourself for any eventual loss of baggage or valuables, particular accidents, medical charges, or any other kind of loss.
Rijay Africa Travel may, at its discretion, provide Landcruiser’s, or other suitable transport subject to rainfall and terrain conditions. A request for a specific type of vehicle will be considered. All tour start and end in Arusha or Dar Es Salaam. If you plan to arrive or depart from any other location, kindly advise Rijay well in advance.
Price quotations include transport while on Safari, camping or lodge/hostel accommodation changes, specified reflections, demesne freights, and motorist attendants. However, hostel charges before and at the termination of the stint, alcoholic drinks, tips, or any other particulars not mentioned in the quotation are not included. Our package prices range according to the mode of transportation, type of accommodation, camping style (standard or luxury), and lodge/hostel rate from 1-5 stars.
For camping safaris, prices per trip depend on the number of people in your group. The maximum number of 4WD vehicles, excluding the motorist companion, is four. We arrange for every customer to have a window seat, and when necessary, we will arrange for an extended vehicle to ensure window seats for all.
Rijay Africa Travel reserves the right to substitute hospices, lodges, and roof camps named in the diary when necessary. Avoid unanticipated accommodation changes by booking in advance. This helps guarantee your first choice at least 45-60 days before the Safari.
Safari packages include all lodging and reflections while on Safari, field transfers, demesne freights, and services of Rijay attendants. However, tipping your motorist companion, lodge staff, and Cook or Camp staff (if you’re boarding) is customary during your Safari. You’ll also pay for your potables and particular charges like laundry service or phone. You’re also responsible for any passport, visa, or entry freights. We recommend that you buy trip protection insurance. However, budget accordingly if you plan to purchase numerous pleasurable Tanzania crafts or monuments.
We hope this information clarifies any questions you may have had and helps you prepare for an unforgettable safari experience.
