As a newer route, it’s further remote and arguably more beautiful, but a bit longer and slightly more precious. It starts on the Western side of the mountain at the Londorossi Gate which is a farther drive from the city and was introduced as volition to the Shira route.   After beautiful timbers and moorlands, it crosses the Shira Plateau on day 3 to connect with the Machame Route at Lava Palace and down towards Barranco Valley via the Southern Circuit. You may be lucky enough to see buffalo, elephants, and other games. Because this route can be done over a longer period of time for adaptation, it has an advanced success rate of the peak.

Elevation: 2389m/ 7838ft to 2785m/ 9137ft
Altitude gained: 396m

Departing from Moshi a 45-minute drive will take you through welcoming mountainside villages to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate. We will patiently stay for our permits to be issued while watching the hustle and bustle of operations as multitudinous crews prepare for the trip ahead Enjoy the beautiful rainforest scenery and windy trails while your companion tells you about the original leafage and fauna and natural wildlife. At these lower elevations, the trail can be muddy and fairly slippery. We tremendously recommend gaiters and trekking poles then.

Elevation: 2785m/ 9137ft to 3504m/ 11,496 ft
Altitude gained:719m

After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, we crop from the rainforest and continue on a thrusting path, we leave the timber behind now, and the trail climbs steadily with wide views to reach the hem of the Shira Plateau. Temperatures begin to drop.

Elevation: 3504m/ 11,496 ft to 3895m/ 12,779 ft
Altitude gained: 391m

We explore the Shira table for a full day. It’s a gentle walk east toward Kibo’s melted peak, across the table which leads to Shira 2 camp on moorland meadows by a sluice. also, we continue to Moir Hut, a little- a habituated point on the base of Lent Hills. A variety of walks are available on Lent Hills making this an excellent adaptation occasion. Shira is one of the loftiest mesas on Earth.

Elevation: 3895m/ 12,779 ft to 3986m/ 13,077 ft
Altitude gained: 91m

Although you end the day around the same elevation as when you began, this day is veritably important for adaptation. From Shira Plateau we continue east up a crest, passing the junction towards the Kibo peak before we also continue, South East towards the Lava palace, called the “Shark’s Tooth” (elev. 4650m/ 15,250 ft). Shortly after the edifice, we come to an alternate junction, which leads to the Arrow Glacier. We also continue to descend overnight at Barranco Camp.

Elevation: 3986m/ 13,077 ft to 4034m/ 13,235 ft
Altitude gained: 48m

After breakfast, we continue on a steep crest up to the venturous Barranco Wall to the Karanga Valley and the junction, which connects, with the Mweka Trail. This is one of the most emotional days to see the power, dexterity, and strength of your crew zip over this wall with what appears similar ease. Overnight at Karanga Camp.

Elevation: 4034m/ 13,235 ft to 4662m/ 15,295 ft
Altitude gained: 628m

We continue up toward Barafu Camp and formerly reached you have now completed the South Circuit, which offers a variety of stirring views of the peak from numerous different angles. An early regale and rest as we prepare for peak night. Overnight at Barafu Camp.

Altitude gained: 1233m
Descent to: 3106m/ 10,190 ft
Altitude lost: 2789m

Excitement is erecting as morning comes with an early launch between night and 2 a.m. This is the most mentally and physically grueling portion of the journey. We continue our way to the peak between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers trying to stay warm and concentrated on the amazing sense of accomplishment that lies ahead. With a switchback stir in a northwesterly direction and lift through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater hem. You’ll be awarded the most magnific daylight during your short rest then. Faster trampers may view the daylight from the peak. From then on, your remaining 1-hour ascent to Uhuru Peak, you’re likely to encounter snow all the way. Congratulations, one step at a time you have now reached Uhuru Peak the loftiest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the entire mainland of Africa! After prints, fests, and perhaps many gashes of joy we take many moments to enjoy this inconceivable accomplishment. We begin our steep descent down to Mweka Camp, stopping at Barafu for lunch and a veritably brief rest. We explosively recommend gaiters and touring poles for uncooperative loose clay and powder keg ash terrain. Well-justified rest awaits you to enjoy your last evening on the mountain. Overnight Mweka Camp

Elevation: 3106m/ 10,190 ft to 1633m/ 5358ft
Altitude lost: 1473m

After breakfast and a sincere form of appreciation and platoon relating with your crew, it’s time to say goodbye. We continue the descent down to the Mweka Park Gate to receive your peak receive. As the rainfall is drastically warmer, the terrain is wet, muddy, and steep and we highly recommend Gaiters and trekking poles. From the gate, a vehicle will meet you at Mweka vill to drive you back to your hostel in Moshi (about 30 twinkles). Enjoy a long overdue hot shower, regale, and fests!!
